I have finally managed to persuade my wife Eva to build her own website, which she has just completed. Many colleagues who know us well can confirm that she is the better photographer, so her website really is well worth a visit. Go to;

New work; Abandoned America.
12th July 2014
Rather than create a new gallery, I have included this new work in the existing "Abandoned America" portfolio. In May 2014 we decided to retrace our steps regarding work we produced for "Ghosts in The Wilderness - Abandoned America." While this book was published 11 years ago, we were surprised by how very little had changed. Somewhat ironically, (and certainly not purposefully), while Eva elected to work largely in monochrome, this time I worked exclusively in colour. It is our intention to have this new work published.
New lecture - new book!
12th June 2014
Following a recent, very productive trip to the northern states of America which involved re-visiting many of the locations featuring in "Ghosts in the Wilderness", I have sufficient work for a new lecture called "Ghosts in the Wilderness - America revisited". Moreover, Eva and I am currently drafting a new book titled "Abandoned America - The Beauty in Decay". We hope this will be available early in the new year.

New Gallery.
07th August 2013
I have just added a new gallery called, somewhat mysteriously, "USA trip September 2014". This is to illustrate the range of work one is likely to encounter on a workshop I am doing with Paul Gallagher next year. While we will be concentrating on the western part of Route 66, we will also find time to visit both Grand Canyon and the wonderful scenic opportunities near and around Page, in Arizona.

New book on the coast by my good friend John Hooton
14th January 2013
I had the great pleasure of writing the Foreword to John Hootons fabulous book on the coast of Dingle titled "Gathering Light" which has been very recently published.

It really is a stunning publication, particularly for those who enjoy photographing the coast. His capacity to capture the essence of the Dingle penisula truly is second to none.

The images as you might expect are superb, but I was also paticularly impressed by the print quality; an absolute bargain at just 25 Euros.
